Falling for Layers 🍂

This year has been all about embracing natural beauty. Maybe that's why we've been so drawn to earthy colours and relaxed styles. Of course, fall makes it so easy to dress in tune with nature. Right now, we're enamoured with bold colours like cinnamon, marigold, espresso and burnt orange.

With the cooler days rolling in, we've been wrapped up in layers on layers. A cozy sweater, with a gorgeous ruana, and a soft scarf for good measure! We just love mixing and matching prints and textures. It creates a look that is so emblematic of fall, but even better, feels like a great big hug.

In this shoppable lookbook, we've styled some of our favourite looks of the season.
We hope you have fun picking out your next fall outfit!

The Explorer

Whether you're heading out to the pumpkin patch... or just for a pumpkin-spice latte - this look will take you there.

I'm honestly so in love with this outfit. It's grounded in the Olivia Jean which comes in this great amber colour. On top, I'm wearing a plaid tunic top, a stripe ruana, and a cozy scarf. It's all about mixing prints to create a warm fall aesthetic!

The whole look is topped off with a super cute hat, and the double zip purse which is great for your weekend adventures.

Falling for Florals

Who said florals weren't for fall? I'm obsessed with this pashmina style jacket in the floral print. Literally all the colours of fall are in it - mustard yellow, burnt orange, hints of green and brown.

On a sunny fall day, this jacket would be all you need. But as the weather gets colder, imagine layering the elegant Elsa Coat over top. This polar fleece coat is the coziest thing I've ever worn and will keep you warm all winter long.

Of course, I had to put on the most adorable toque with a fluffy pompom!

Into the Wild

Animal print is a classic and the perfect way to embrace your wild side!

In this look, I have on the Big Shirt in leopard from our Dairi collection. Dairi is known for having the softest, most beautiful feeling cotton/rayon blend fabric. If you've had it before, you know what I mean!

Next I layered on a pashmina-style jacket in wool. This jacket has a mix of leopard and reptile prints that I think is just so unique.

If you love having fun with rich, dynamic prints, this is your look! Swap out the jean for a black pant for a more sophisticated look.

Layers on Layers

When the weather is transitioning, you never really know what to expect. That's why I love designing all my looks around layers. I always keep an extra ruana or cardigan in the car or stuffed into my bag "just in case."

In this look, I've added in some more denim blue colours. You can never go wrong with blue and it pairs so beautifully with the warm tones of fall.

As the base layer, I'm wear an oversized mock turtle neck sweater. On top, I'm wearing a super cozy cardigan and I added the printed ruana to add a statement piece to the look.

Pattern with Plaid

I'm not sure if I can think of a more classic fall print than plaid. It always reminds me of my dad's old flannel shirts and how I'd throw them on on cold days. The feeling is still the same, but luckily, plaid has evolved a lot since those days and is now a celebration of fine lines and precise prints.

If you're ready to show some serious style, go for plaid on plaid. I think layering this check tunic shirt under the plaid sweater coat takes this look to the next level.

Also, this sweater coat is really, really cozy.

Elevated Everyday

I love layering my everyday looks and elevating them by mixing prints, colours and textures. Sometimes it's just about unleashing that creativity that's inside all of us to create something that is unique and beautiful.

In this look, I'm wearing a polar fleece coat over a short wool jacket. I love this unexpected colour combo and how put together it looks with the perfect scarf.

Oh and in case you didn't notice, I've been wearing the same Olivia Jean and Bamboo Long Sleeve top in all the looks. They are great basics that work with all
